Kicking off Summer with Skiing Crater Lake and Mt Thielsen | UNITED STATES, OREGON | 05/29/2009, by powderjunky
Nothing says summer like skiing. At least that's what I am learning in the Pacific Northwest. I am just amazed how late in the day you can ski here and still have great conditions. It's the perfect answer for my lazy-never-want-to-get-up-early attitude. In this video we made a trip down south and got to ski Mount Thielsen and Crater Lake. We tried to catch our dinner at diamond lake, but figured out halfway through we didn't have clue. Luckily our camping neighbors gave us some trout, so we wouldn't have to settle for jo-jo's and cookies. Rats. Maybe it was being fully filled on fish or the two-buck chuck, we had some great turns, clothing optional. Enjoy!Skiing Crater Lake and Mount Thieslen on Memorial Day 2009!

PJ - any chance I could get your contact info so I can get some beta on all these Oregon lines you've been bagging recently?
