THE GOOD
First, watch the video. The Dakine Thinline sock is just as the name implies, thin. Which In my mind is the only way to go for skiing socks. It has a rolled no-slip welt top, an elastic ankle support for no sagging, a reinforced heel and toe for durability, and a reversed toe seam for comfort. The colors are pretty cool too.

THE BAD
For me the sock comes up a little too short. I would like the for it to reach just below the knee and have slightly more elastic grip.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
A backcountry skiing sock that is also good for sock puppeteering (Watch the video). A good sock for the low price. Nice and thin, but they are pretty short. If you have long legs, they tend to creep down throughout the day, causing uncomfortable wrinkles in your boot.

That video is ridiculous! Here's another one:

Why do backcountry skiers wear bright colors?

So you wont hit them while they hitchhike.
