THE GOOD
The Ortovox 240cm Economic Probe is a sturdy probe. The length is about as short as one should go when buying a probe. Great price for what you get.
THE BAD
The locking mechanism takes too long to complete, especially when time is a big deal in avalanche rescue.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
A nice probe for the price, good usable length, but not the best locking mechanism. Good for those on a budget.
