PRODUCT SUMMARY
By powderjunky

THE GOOD
This lantern is super lightweight, and is incredibly bright for it's size. Thoughtful features such as frosted plastic, a removable battery cartridge and a handy hook on top make this a product extremely user-friendly. At only $29.95, this product is high on value and would make a great christmas gift for any gear lover!

THE BAD
For whatever reason, the plastic seems prone to scratching. However, it's frosted anyhow so a few scratches wouldn't really affect it's performance. It also is kindof sticky to open and close.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Obviously lanterns are not necessary for your average backcountry skiing excursion, but if you are headed out on a multi-day adventure this lantern will provide you with illumination without weighing down your already insanely heavy pack.

Thanks for reviewing this - we're trying to figure out what to use to light up our 10x12 wall tent. This is on the short list!
