THE GOOD
This mid-weight base layer is warm, soft and comfortable. It's really, really soft! It's really, really warm. And it's really, really comfortable. I also love the little pocket on the left hip!
THE BAD
1) There is nothing worse than zipper to chin contact. All it takes to make me happy is a little flap to cover the inside of the zipper where it will touch your face.
2) The Jade color is dangerously reminiscent of the 1980's. It's much brighter than online pictures suggest.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
As usual, Dakine has created a product that has great value. At only $50, it's a good choice for a day of skiing! I would wear it mostly on cold days (under 20 degrees F), otherwise it makes me overheat while hiking.
*If you are ordering online, lean toward a smaller size than you usually wear.
